Only a few months before changing to the Supervisory Board, Ivoclar Vivadent's CEO Robert Ganley was acknowledged by the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP) for his leadership and service to the dental industry.

"Robert Ganley is truly a visionary who transformed the dental technology landscape by innovating disruptive processes, technologies and products that altered the profession," said Dr Leonard Kobren, chair of the ACP's Education Foundation, in his comments at the 2018 Annual Session of the association in Chicago.

Ganley was not only leading the charge for quality, esthetic dentistry, but he was also committed to supporting education and improving access to oral healthcare for underserved populations. Among many other things, he was the initiator for the Wisdom Tooth Project in the US, which strives to improve the lives of older adults especially vulnerable to oral disease.
