Could you introduce yourself?
Certainly. Hello, I am Irina Wittmann, the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of W&H Group. With over a decade of experience in the dental industry, I find immense fulfillment in my role.

Could you tell us about W&H's presence in Dubai and the product line it offers during this trade show?
Absolutely. W&H has a strong presence at the Dubai exhibition, as this isn't our first time participating. At the event, we showcase our comprehensive product portfolio, emphasizing our leadership in handpieces, sterilization solutions, and surgical devices for oral surgery and Osstell products for implant stability.

What outcomes are you hoping for from this event?
Our primary objective is to capitalize on the growing prominence of the dental industry at this exhibition. We've observed a steady increase in attendee engagement over the years, and we anticipate further exposure for our innovations and solutions.

Could you elaborate on the role of education at the event?
Education is paramount to our approach. We recognize the importance of creating closer relationships with our customers, particularly dentists. At this exhibition, we are hosting presentations featuring Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) who share their experiences and insights on utilizing our products effectively. By facilitating these discussions, we aim to empower practitioners with the knowledge needed to optimize patient care.

What is the future outlook for W&H in the region, and how does this event contribute to it?
Looking back over the past five to ten years, we've witnessed significant growth and internationalization of this event. As the event continues to attract a global audience, it serves as a platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and showcasing innovations, all of which bode well for W&H's future in the region.

How do you envision the future of dentistry?
I foresee a shift towards preventive care and infection control as focal points in dentistry. While aesthetics will always hold importance, there's a growing emphasis on holistic health and wellness. This shift is evident in the younger generation's attitudes towards oral hygiene and the increasing awareness of the importance of maintaining oral health for overall well-being. Additionally, in light of recent global events such as the COVID-19 pandemic, infection control has emerged as a critical concern, underscoring the need for advanced solutions and practices in the dental field.

Could you highlight any specific products of focus at the show?
Certainly. We are placing particular emphasis on our sterilization solutions, recognizing their pivotal role in safeguarding lives. Additionally, our Piezo surgical devices are garnering attention for their ability to enhance safety and patient comfort during surgical procedures. These products align with our commitment to innovation and excellence in dental care.

Are there any upcoming product releases planned for IDS or future events?
As we approach IDS, the premier dental trade fair, we are diligently finalizing preparations for our showcase. While I cannot reveal specific details at this moment, I encourage everyone to visit our booth at IDS next year to experience our latest advancements firsthand.
