Tribune CME, the premier continuing medical education programme for dental professionals, is proud to announce yet another partnership with a leading international higher education institution, Université Saint-Joseph (USJ) in Beirut in Lebanon. From autumn, Tribune CME in collaboration with USJ will offer Clinical Masters Program courses in oral surgery and oral implantology at the USJ’s regional centre in Dubai in the UAE. All participants will receive ADA CERP continuing credits upon completion of the programme. The collaboration with USJ will also provide CME credits, awarded with the approval of the Dubai Health Authority and the Health Authority–Abu Dhabi.
The Clinical Masters Program has become a premier source of information and inspiration for dentists seeking to advance their skills and training. Over the past year, dental professionals from all over the world have attended its comprehensive programmes and courses in aesthetic and restorative dentistry, implant dentistry, endodontics, periodontics, orthodontics, prosthodontics and laser dentistry.
These certification programmes are anchored by multiple days of hands-on sessions with top instructors teaching at the industry’s most advanced training facilities. The training is complemented by full access to a highly sophisticated online learning platform that features additional on-demand video training in support of the course work. The group of partner institutions offering on-site training in locations across the world is continually being expanded, with the most recent being USJ.
Founded in 1875 as the first Catholic and French-speaking institution in the region, USJ quickly emerged as one of the top three universities in Lebanon. Over 12,000 students are currently enrolled at USJ across the five campuses in Beirut and a foreign centre in Dubai. A highly internationalised institution, USJ follows the European credit transfer and accumulation system, facilitating credit recognition for students from the European Union.
The USJ’s Faculty of Dental Medicine was established in 1920 and is a pioneer in the field of dentistry in the Middle East. Around 75 per cent of dentists in Lebanon have graduated from the school, and its alumni are active in all Middle Eastern countries and abroad. USJ offers master’s and doctoral programmes in various fields of dentistry, taught by experienced lecturers. At its regional centre in Dubai, USJ will be offering Tribune CME advanced courses in oral surgery and oral implantology.
“As one of the best academic institutions in the Middle East, Université Saint-Joseph is known for its cutting-edge training in dental medicine. We want to bring this clinical excellence to dentists around the world while also welcoming them to this vibrant region. Tribune CME is an excellent opportunity, as the clinical programme combines expert knowledge with advanced courses,” said Prof. Nada Naaman, Dean of the Faculty of Dental Medicine at USJ.
