DUBAI, UAE: At this year’s AEEDC, Osstem Implant will unveil its fourth-generation SOI (Super Osseointegration) surface technology, which is set to redefine industry standards. This innovative technology, designed to surpass the capabilities of sandblasted and acid-etched surface technologies, reduces the initial bone fusion period by more than 35% compared with Osstem Implant’s SA surface technology. The TS SOI implant, highlighted at the event, offers significantly enhanced protein attachment strength for conventional implants and strong blood clot formation capabilities, positioning it as a breakthrough solution in implantology.

Custom kits for precision and success

Since commencing operations in 2020, Osstem Implant has expanded its reach to include 60 dealers across 26 countries. In November last year, its Middle East branch launched direct sales in Dubai, marking a pivotal achievement. Dae-hee Jang, director of Osstem Implant Middle East Corporation, stated: “We are the first dental manufacturer in the UAE to directly supply products to dental clinics. We aim to provide a broader range of products, deliver specialised education and better meet customer needs.”

AEEDC 2025: Osstem Implant to showcase next-generation SOI surface technology and digital solutions

Since the SOI surface launch in 2021, it has been widely adopted by dentists in Europe. It shortens the implant osseointegration period from a maximum of six months down to two months.

Attendees at AEEDC will have the opportunity to participate in a hands-on programme, allowing them to try out various kits. Explaining the enhanced programme, Jang added: “Clinicians prioritise tools that align with their surgical objectives and the specific characteristics of the treatment area. Our surgical kits are optimally designed to eliminate redundant purchases and under-utilised tools, improving the precision and success rates of procedures.”

Osstem Implant’s OneGuide System for digital surgical guides comprises four specialised kits, each tailored to specific clinical scenarios. The OneCAS Kit prevents maxillary sinus perforation, and the OneMS Kit is designed for narrow bone widths in the mandibular anterior region. The One485 Kit minimises the risk of damage to the inferior alveolar nerve, and the OneGuide Kit is the most versatile, accommodating implant diameters ranging from 3.5 mm to 5 mm. These kits are all available for hands-on trials, offering clinicians a practical understanding of their applications.

Additional highlights include the globally exclusive 122 Taper Kit, enabling implant placement with just two drilling procedures, and the LAS Kit, which mitigates the risk of membrane perforation. Osstem Implant will also present the Esset Kit, which supports procedures in cases of insufficient horizontal bone volume without requiring bone grafting. Furthermore, the company will be unveiling the highly anticipated IM-Cure Kit, which integrates multiple functions to minimise implant surface damage and eliminate peri-implantitis. This kit is compatible with surgery, prosthetics and conservative treatments.

Streamlined digital workflow at AEEDC

Osstem Implant will incorporate the digital workflow process into its AEEDC booth design, guiding visitors along a curated pathway for an optimal experience.

The journey begins with the K3 and K5 dental chair units, which are designed for comprehensive dental procedures, and continues with an exhibition of diagnostic and treatment planning equipment, including the T2 CBCT unit, Medit i700 and Medit i900 intra-oral scanners, and the N1 portable dental radiographic imaging device—all conveniently displayed in one area. For clinicians new to digital dentistry or unfamiliar with such equipment, Osstem Implant’s expert managers will be on hand to provide detailed guidance.

In addition to the TS SOI implants, bone graft materials and hands-on zones, Osstem Implant will be showcasing products from its sister brands, such as implants from Hiossen and Toplan and orthodontic supplies, including brackets and tubes, from Osstem Orthodontics.

More information about the company and its products can be found at mi.osstem.com. AEEDC visitors will have the opportunity to find out more at Booth 4B07.
