Align Technology, Inc., a leading global medical device company that designs, manufactures, and sells the Invisalign System of clear aligners, iTero intraoral scanners, and exocad CAD/CAM software for digital orthodontics and restorative dentistry – hosted a two-day conference and a masterclass session for dental professionals in Kuwait to strengthen their skills and knowledge base of clear aligner systems. The event was the first of its kind delivered by Align in Kuwait.

With a focus on addressing the ever-expanding requirements of the growing patient market, the conference sessions aimed to reinforce knowledge around the patient benefits of utilising Invisalign clear aligner system, in addition to educating attendees on the use of the Align Digital Platform to increase treatment efficiency, predictability of diagnosis, and overall better outcomes for patients.

From a business-focused perspective, sessions were hosted under the theme of ‘Improving your clinical outcomes – your guide from planning to retention’ in an effort to support clinical professionals in all aspects of running their practices. The focused education areas that were covered included key biomechanical principles, troubleshooting, guidelines for pivoting the approach for atypical cases, and the proper finishing of clear aligner treatment using ClinCheck technology.

More than 25 doctors attended the sessions conducted by three eminent experts. Dr. Mubarak Al Saeed, a local Invisalign speaker from Kuwait, and Drs. Francesco Garino and Tommaso Castroflorio, both leading industry experts from Italy, covered a range of key topics that included how to apply different Invisalign treatment solutions for anteroposterior correction and the treatment of younger patients with Invisalign systems.

During the panel session, the hosts shared further insight into their experience using the Invisalign system and how they have used the Align Digital Platform to increase efficiency and clinical outcomes in their own practices.
