Under the umbrella of Hospitals Sector in Ministry of Health and Prevention, Al Baraha Hospital held the event under the theme “You are part of us and we care about you”, on Thursday 3rd of June 2018.

The event took place in the main building of the Ministry of Health and Prevention from 9:00 – 13:00 as a participation during the Year of Sheikh Zayed. The main purpose of the event was to cover the low-income workers of the ministry. The event aimed at helping less fortunate people and provide them with baseline examination in different aspects of medicine like dental, ophthalmology, cardiology and many other specialties.

Raising awareness in oral and dental diseases among this group is very important to prevent diseases. A full mouth examination has been done for each individual in the group and through explanation and education regarding their own condition and motivation to achieve optimal oral health by adherence to proper oral hygiene measures. Around 100 workers were examined and educated regarding oral health. The participation of the dental department was sponsored by Scorpios International company. Furthermore, a distribution of giveaways of Jordan tooth brushes and Beverly Hills Formula tooth paste was sponsored by Jordan and Beverly Hills Formula.
