DUBAI, UAE: Together with the Centre for Advanced Professional Practices, dental manufacturer Sirona will be holding the first CEREC Desert Fest in Dubai on 12 and 13 September. The conference will appeal to dentists and dental technicians interested in the latest innovations in digital dentistry and to users of CEREC, the company’s CAD/CAM system, in particular.

At the conference, which will be held at the Palace Downtown Dubai, participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the development of dental CAD/CAM technologies over the past decades and in the future. A number of distinguished experts will give insights into various applications of Sirona’s CEREC system, such as the restoration of anterior teeth. Moreover, the use of CEREC Omnicam in restorations will be explained in detail. All presentations will be followed by panel discussions.

In addition, several live demonstrations are planned for the two-day event.

The programme will be complemented by a number of leisure activities, including a desert safari and a festive dinner overlooking the Dubai Fountain, the world’s largest choreographed fountain system, at the foot of the Burj Khalifa, the highest building in the world.

The Centre for Advanced Professional Practices is an ADA CERP-recognised provider of continuing education. The organisation stages two major conferences in the Middle East every year: the CAD/CAM and Digital Dentistry International Conference in May and the Dental-Facial Cosmetic International Conference, which will take place on 14 and 15 November at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai this year.

More information about the event can be found at www.cerecfest.cappmea.com.
