Globally, the restorative industry is set to reach US$25.9 billion by 2025, growing at a CAGR of 6.7 percent, according to a Grand View Research report*.

The 2018 Invisalign Digital Dentistry Forum will be attended by leading Invisalign doctors who will deliver in-depth case studies and lectures on how the Invisalign system has helped support their practice growth and help to revolutionise the dental sector. Over 100 leading dentists, including general practitioners and orthodontists, are expected to attend the Forum.

Confirmed speakers include Dr. Sam Daher (Canada) who will deliver the keynote address and discuss his use of the Invisalign system; Dr. Joerg Schwarze (Germany), who will cover teenager treatments; Dr. Waddah Sabouni (France), who will discuss biomechanics as well as local practitioners who will share their experience.

The highlights of the Forum, themed ‘Digital Evolution with the Invisalign System and iTero Scanner’ include the showcase of Align’s advanced solutions that have contributed to transforming dentistry procedures with a focus on speed, accuracy, and aesthetic value. At the heart of the discussions is the next generation iTero® Element Intraoral Scanner, introduced recently in the Middle East by Align Technology.

Synonymous with high-precision intraoral scanning, it provides improved 3D imaging technology driving intuitive operation, and exceptional visualisation capabilities. It is now available to general dentists and orthodontists across the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

Another innovative solution to be discussed at length is Invisalign Comprehensive with mandibular advancement feature, the first clear aligner solution for Class II correction for teenage patients. It combines the benefits of the most advanced clear aligner system in the world with features for moving the lower jaw forward while simultaneously aligning the teeth. The solution offers a simpler, more efficient and patient-friendly treatment option than functional appliances typically used to treat teen Class II patients.

The benefits of Invisalign Comprehensive with mandibular advancement include treatment efficiency through cost and time savings with a single-appliance solution, no compliance concerns associated with using elastic bands by providing elastics-free correction, and increased patient comfort, among others.

Participants at the Forum will also gain new insights into the application of Align’s proprietary ClinCheck software. The Forum will discuss the evolution of Invisalign system followed by leading Invisalign doctors sharing detailed case studies on treating with the Invisalign portfolio. Continuing the Invisalign journey through the second day, the Forum is intended to be highly interactive and encourage participants to share their learnings and experiences.

“With over 5,8 million patients treated with the Invisalign system worldwide, Align Technology has been at the forefront of the digital revolution that is helping transform the sector. The Forum is a great opportunity for dental practitioners to see how the industry is evolving and how they can benefit from these advances. Align is bringing Invisalign leaders from across the world to highlight their experience and expertise that will be of incredible value to the participants.
