SOFIA, Bulgaria/DUBAI, UAE: The much-anticipated ROOTS SUMMIT is to be held in Dubai in only a few months’ time. With an unparalleled series of lectures and workshops, the event is expected to be the premier discussion forum for endodontics in 2016. In a webinar on 8 August, ROOTS SUMMIT presenter Dr Mile Churlinov will give an introduction to his lecture with a discussion of the concept of “endorestodontics”, which refers to symbiosis between two dental procedures—endodontic and restorative treatment—that is beneficial to both.
In the webinar, endodontic expert Churlinov will explain how to treat a badly worn or damaged tooth endodontically when a rubber dam cannot be retained owing to the state of the affected tooth. He will show how pre-endodontic build-up and margin elevation help ensure better isolation during treatment, as well as easier and faster final build-up.
Churlinov has a keen interest in combined endodontic and restorative treatment and continues to lead innovation in this area through his research and regular contributions to online research websites, as well as the Dental Tribune, the Dentaltown magazine and journals.
The webinar, titled “Endo-restorative symbiosis: Endorestodontics”, will be broadcast on 8 August at 7 p.m. (CEST). Participants may register online at www.dtstudyclub.com free of charge and will be able to ask questions via a chat window and have the opportunity to earn a continuing education credit by completing a multiple-choice questionnaire on the topic discussed.
Dental professionals who would like to learn more about Churlinov’s approach may also register for the ROOTS SUMMIT, which will take place from 30 November to 3 December at the Crowne Plaza Dubai. Churlinov will hold his lecture, titled “Pulpotomy in permanent dentition—Not what you expected”, on 2 December at 8.30 a.m.
Registration for the event is still open at www.roots-summit.com/register.
