DUBAI, UAE: The early bird offer for ROOTS SUMMIT 2016, a leading international forum in endodontics, expires soon. Visitors need to register on the ROOTS SUMMIT website before 30 April to receive a 20 per cent discount for both the congress and the workshops. The ROOTS SUMMIT will be held from Nov. 30 to Dec. 3 at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Dubai. Over 20 distinguished international experts will be presenting the latest technologies and techniques.

As ROOTS SUMMIT 2016 focuses on new endodontic treatments, both specialists and general dentists, as well as manufacturers and suppliers of endodontic products are encouraged to join the high-class event. The preliminary program is already available. Over the course of three days, participants will be able to attend over 20 lectures and nine workshops.

The congress addresses the latest topics in endodontics, including endodontic microsurgery; evidence-based retreatment; infection and disinfection of root canal systems; minimization of vertical root fractures; photon-induced photo-acoustic streaming; root canal visualization using the clearing technique; restoration of endodontically treated teeth; rotary endodontics; and trends in root canal preparation, obturation and retreatment. An accompanying exhibition will give congress participants the opportunity to learn more about innovative technologies and discuss the latest developments with representatives of leading dental companies.

Jaramillo, scientific chairman of the 2016 ROOTS SUMMIT and Associate Professor of Endodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in the U.S.

Previous ROOTS SUMMITS have been held in Canada, the U.S., Mexico, Spain, the Netherlands, Brazil and last year in India. These meetings have been known for the strength of their scientific programs and their relevancy to clinical practice. The lectures, workshops and hands-on courses scheduled for this year’s meeting will be no exception.

For the summit in Dubai, the organizers have partnered with Dental Tribune International and the Dubai-based Centre for Advanced Professional Practices for the first time. The event is being sponsored by a number of dental companies. Various sponsorship opportunities are available, including booth space, as well as sponsorships of workshops, hands-on courses, meeting bags and social events.
