DUBAI, UAE: During the UAE International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition (AEEDC) in Dubai, which is currently being held for the 21st time, Hu-Friedy is presenting exclusive innovations alongside its tried-and-tested technologies. In addition, distinguished experts are available at the global company’s exhibition stand to answer visitors’ questions.

“The whole Middle East is a very important market for our products. Investment in the dental sector is increasing continuously in this area. Therefore, we have doubled the size of our stand this time, so we can present our company in even more detail,” said Fabio Molinaro, Vice President and Managing Director of Sales and Marketing for Europe.

Over an area spanning 36 m², Hu-Friedy is exhibiting both established technologies and innovations, including an exclusive preview of its new EverEdge 2.0 series. The company developed EverEdge 2.0 using a proprietary heat treatment process and enhanced finishing techniques. The optimised steel used has superior edge retention and wear characteristics that will last the entire lifetime of the instrument, according to the company. EverEdge 2.0 scalers can be resharpened at any point to extend their lifetime and value.

In addition, AEEDC Dubai visitors will have the opportunity to meet Dr Consolata Pejrone at the Hu-Friedy booth (6G10). The Italian specialist is a leading opinion-maker in periodontology and a lecturer in the dental hygiene programme at the University of Turin in Italy. At the stand, she will be discussing sharpness and its importance in periodontal applications.
