Extended shade selection makes IPS e.max ZirCAD even more efficient to use.

At IDS 2017, Ivoclar Vivadent presented the IPS e.max ZirCAD system. Now, the existing range of LT and MT Multi materials has been extended to include new shades. This makes it even easier for users of zirconium oxide discs and blocks to attain a matching tooth shade.

Monolithic zirconium oxide is a widely used restoration material. With IPS e.max ZirCAD, Ivoclar Vivadent offers pre-shaded zirconium oxide discs and blocks in a coordinated range of shades and translucencies. Now, the manufacturer has extended its range of materials to include new shades. This benefits the selection of both LT materials (discs and blocks) and MT Multi discs.

New shades for the LT range
For the LT discs, the existing array of group shades 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, sun and sun chroma has been extended to include seven new A-D shades (A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, C2, D2) and a Bleach (BL) shade. For the LT blocks, the current range of A1, A2, A3 and B1 shades now includes the new shades B2, C2, D2 and a Bleach (BL) shade.

New shades for the MT Multi range
With their integrated progression of shade and translucency, the MT Multi discs have attained great popularity within a short span of time. Ivoclar Vivadent has also extended the selection of shades for this product range: Three new A-D shades and a Bleach shade have been added to the existing four A-D shades. As a result, the IPS e.max ZirCAD MT Multi discs are now available in the following shades: A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, C2, D2 and BL1.

Material selection has never been easier
In summary, the LT blocks, LT discs and MT Multi discs of the IPS e.max ZirCAD range are now all available in the same selection of A-D shades. In addition, the LT discs are also offered in group shades. This arrangement makes it even easier for users to attain a matching tooth shade, as they can work with materials that are already pre-shaded in the A-D shades. Shade adjustments can be easily accomplished with the staining technique (IPS Ivocolor range of Stain and Glaze materials) or with the IPS e.max ZirCAD Colouring Liquids if monochromatic MT and LT discs are used.
